Avignon and pretty little French towns [Provence Vlog 1]

The first vlog from our trip to Provence is now live on my Youtube channel! There will be another one coming up next week so be sure to subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss the lavender fields. No one doesn’t like lavender fields…

In this vlog, we visit the city of Avignon where we do a bit of exploring and have a lovely lunch. We also visit the quaint little town of Gigondas, where we see some incredible views from its church, and also enjoy some nice local wines, dinner, and dessert in the village of Beaumes de Venise.

Have you ever visited Provence? Where did you go? Let me know in the comments. It was my first time and it won’t be the last, as we have family that live there.

We’re planning to fly into Marseille and scope out that or Cassis for a day or two and then drive around Provence for the remaining days. We’re still sorting out the details, but if you have a town that we should definitely visit I’d love to hear!:)

I would have loved to have gone to Marseille. Avignon is nice, just rather busy, but if you get off the main streets, it’s lovely. We made little stops in small villages (as you can tell by the video) like Gigondas, Beaumes de Venise, and others that are slipping my mind at the moment. I hope that helps just a bit? Looking forward to seeing your photos!

Thanks so much Emily! I really recommend doing it– if anything, my husband and I will in the least have videos to eventually show our kids that we WERE cool at some point 😉
