We’re looking for a freelance YouTube Strategist and Producer to be a significant part of the future growth of the Love and London channel.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Brainstorming with founder and on-camera talent to create monthly content calendars for YouTube content, starting with two videos per month, using YouTube analytics, trends and more to decide which content to create.
- All pre-production for each video: researching, scripting, shot list, scheduling and planning shoot days and locations, and briefing talent and videographer/editor before shoot day.
- Working closely with the video editor to achieve your vision and make sure content follows best practices while also being on brand and engaging.
- Working within a task management system to ensure all deadlines are met and workflows are efficient
- Conceptualising branded content pitches when applicable
You’ll need to be knowledgable in:
- Storytelling for the YouTube platform, and understand what makes someone click to watch a video and then to continue to the end. You MUST have YouTube-specific experience.
- How to read YouTube Analytics and how to use its data to shape and inform future content
- How to title videos and design thumbnails for high click through rates
- All things London, beyond the touristy bits, in line with our content.
I’m looking for someone who has a minimum of one year’s experience with the above and is available for the equivalent of 2-3 days per month. Day rate of £200-£300 DOE. Fully remote work but you MUST be London-based and might be needed for occasional in-person meetings.

Freelance Virtual Assistant
The team at Love and London are looking for a freelance virtual assistant to help us a few hours a week.
The main responsibilities will include:
- Customer service for our Shopify shop and Tours booking platform, including answer customer questions, troubleshooting problems, re-booking customers in our booking system, etc.
- Assisting with email organisation, filtering and replies with customers, suppliers, brand partners and more
- Various admin tasks assigned by the founder and other freelancers
Skills you’ll need to have:
- Familiarity with Google Drive products, especially Google Sheets and also Excel
- Good organisational skills
- Professional email etiquette and near-native English level for both speaking and writing
- Good customer service – helping deal with upset customers, suppliers, etc. You’ll need some basic experience working with customers on your CV.
- The ability to problem-solve and complete tasks without much guidance… good Google skills!
- Good working knowledge of London as you’ll be answering a lot of questions about London for tourists who are not familiar with the city.
- Great attention to detail
- Experience creating graphics in Canva is a plus!
You must:
- Be London-based
- Have your own laptop/computer and reliable internet
- Be available around 830am and 4pm for email checks and customer service work during the week and around 10am on weekends.
- Be registered with HMRC as self-employed (or can do so if job is offered to you)
This role is fully remote, so while you need to be primarily London-based, you’re welcome to work from wherever you like. Besides customer service times, we’re flexible on when you get your other work done as long as deadlines are met.
In terms of weekend work, our priority is customer service coverage from Friday to Sunday. We can then work out how you’d like to split your time for the rest of the week.
This would be a great role for a student or someone who needs flexible timings. We’ve had someone doing this role for the last five years but she’s moved up in the company, hence why we need someone new to take over these tasks.
We’re looking for someone to begin ASAP and hours will start at around 8 per week but this will likely increase as the year goes on.
Rate: £14/hour
