If there’s one place that really goes all out for the festive season, it’s Claridge’s. Everyone knows them for their iconic Christmas tree, but this classic Mayfair establishment knows how to host a memorable Christmas in every aspect. Expect traditional Christmas carols, a horse-drawn carriage ride around Mayfair, stockings for all ages, storytelling for children on Christmas Eve, and even a visit from Santa himself, who pops in to say hello with one of his little helpers. Moreover, every year, the hotel gets a seasonal makeover from a renowned designer; last year was a minimalist theme kitted out by Jimmy Choo’s, so this year is certainly something to get excited about. You can also enjoy an excellent festive afternoon tea here in the Art Deco Foyer and Reading Room – expect turkey and stuffing sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and the Claridge’s famous Christmas pudding with brandy sauce.
